Sait meshes are for use with rotary sanders for finishing floors after a belt sander has been used. Made out of silicon carbide the abrasive cuts extremely quickly whilst not using a great deal of pressure, this is why the deknibbing of a floor is traditionally completed with a rotating sander which is non agressive but still ensures the floor is completely smooth before sealing.
